We were established in 1993 and have many years of experience serving Japanese clients. Since 1997, we have signed an official distributor agreement with SUPER PLANNING Co., Ltd in Japan to promote the ROOTOTE and HEMING’S brands in Taiwan. We import the finest products from Japan and sell them in well-known department stores and other retail outlets throughout Taiwan.

In addition, we foster young Taiwanese designers and produce many original products, which are sold through various cultural and creative channels. We also accept ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) special orders.

  • 1993 Started manufacturing and exporting badges.
  • 1997 Recognized as BEST GMS (Excellent Company). Signed an official distributor agreement with SUPER PLANNING Co., Ltd. from Japan and began importing and selling cartoon character merchandise in Taiwan.
  • 1999 Signed a contract with SUPER PLANNING Co., Ltd. from Japan to obtain licensing rights and started manufacturing cartoon character merchandise in Taiwan for export to Japan.
  • 2001 Signed a contract with Taiwan MTV and obtained licensing rights, starting the production and sale of MTV merchandise in Taiwan.
  • 2003 Researched and started selling new products, such as mobile phone cleaning charms. Participated in the Taipei International Gifts & Stationery Show and Creative Expo.
  • 2004 Participated in the Hong Kong Gifts and Premium Fair.
  • 2005 Participated in the Tokyo International Gift Show. Obtained utility patents in Taiwan and Japan and introduced new magnetic badge products.
  • 2006 Participated in the Hong Kong Gifts and Premium Fair. Obtained a patent for magnetic badges in China.
  • 2007 Developed printing badges and various application products. Participated in the Taipei International Gifts & Stationery Show and the Tokyo International Gift Show.
  • 2008 Opened ROOTOTE GALLERY Shibuya Store.
  • 2009 Opened ROOTOTE GALLERY Q Square Store.
  • 2010 Participated in the Tokyo International Gift Show. Developed printing badges, silicone products, and new styles of EVA cleaning charms. Opened ROOTOTE GALLERY at Uni-Ustyle Taipei Store. Organized the first Taiwan ROOTOTE charity event at ROOTOTE GALLERY Zhongxiao Store, with the participation of 23 celebrity groups, raising a total of approximately NTD 88,771 and donating to the Children’s Charity Association of the Republic of China.
  • 2011 Organized the second Taiwan ROOTOTE charity event at ROOTOTE GALLERY Uni-Ustyle Taipei Store, with the participation of 56 celebrity groups, raising a total of approximately NTD 676,057 and donating to children affected by the 311 East Japan Earthquake.
  • 2012 Developed cultural and creative design works in collaboration with illustrator “whamimi” and started wholesale sales in Taiwan. Organized the third Taiwan ROOTOTE charity event at ROOTOTE GALLERY Q Square Store, with the participation of 101 celebrity groups, raising a total of approximately NTD 477,294 and donating to the Children’s Charity Association of the Republic of China. Participated in the Taiwan Design Exhibition.
  • 2013 Participated in the Taipei International Gifts & Stationery Show. Organized the fourth Taiwan ROOTOTE charity event at ROOTOTE GALLERY Q Square Store, with the participation of 65 celebrity groups, raising a total of approximately NTD 386,959 and donating to the Children’s Charity Association of the Republic of China.
  • 2014 Organized the fifth Taiwan ROOTOTE charity event at ROOTOTE Pacific SOGO Department Store – Zhongxiao Store, with the participation of 63 celebrity groups, raising a total of approximately NTD 349,821 and donating to the Children’s Charity Association of the Republic of China.
  • 2015 Participated in the Tokyo International Gift Show. Signed a contract with Taipei Metro and developed peripheral products. Obtained Category 4 benefits from the Ministry of Culture’s “Cultural and Creative Industry Preferential Loan Guidelines.”
  • 2016 Participated in the Singapore Gifts and Premiums Fair. Established an industry-academia partnership with Musashino University (Tokyo) and started internships and training in July. Received awards and subsidies from the Taipei City Government’s “Taipei Industrial Development Incentives and Grants Review” and “Taipei Passion New Brand Establishment Program.” Organized the sixth Taiwan ROOTOTE charity event at ROOTOTE GALLERY Uni-Ustyle Taipei Store, with the participation of 53 celebrity groups, raising a total of approximately NTD 384,500 and donating to the Xiang Yuan Social Welfare Charity Foundation.
  • 2017 Participated in the ISOT Japan International Stationery & Office Products Fair, showcasing the pocket sticky notes that received the “GOOD DESIGN AWARD” design award in 2009. Organized the seventh Taiwan ROOTOTE charity event at ROOTOTE GALLERY Uni-Ustyle Taipei Store, with the participation of 43 celebrity groups, raising a total of approximately NTD 447,676 and donating to the Xiang Yuan Social Welfare Charity Foundation.
  • 2018 Participated in the ISOT Japan International Stationery & Office Products Fair.
  • 2019 Participated in the Business Matching Fair in Hamamatsu exhibition. Opened C AND R Breeze Nan Shan A.ER.Li.e Store, the first combined lifestyle concept store featuring Japan’s ROOTOTE X HEMING’S. Organized the eighth Taiwan ROOTOTE charity event at C AND R Breeze Nan Shan A.ER.Li.e Store, with the participation of 26 celebrity groups, raising a total of approximately NTD 125,600 and donating to the Xiang Yuan Social Welfare Charity Foundation.
  • 2020 Participated in the Taipei International Gifts & Stationery Show.
  • 2021 Established the Japanese subsidiary corporation, Kabushiki Kaisha Toho Shin. Signed a contract with Taipei Metro Corporation for mutual cooperation in product development and production of peripheral goods.
